Review of the RCI Bank, Fixed Term Savings Account:

Extremely accommodating

I opened this 3 year fixed interest account in July 2020 but during 2021 we needed to have some private medical procedures undertaken for my wife and some expensive private dental treatment for me. I contacted RCI to ask if there was any way I could break the 3-year agreement. They advised that in exceptional circumstances they could and outlined the evidence I would need to provide. I tried to plough on, but I was becoming a little anxious. So I compiled invoices and quotations and sent them to RCI Bank. Shortly afterwards I received a letter saying my request had been granted - but I knew that already, as when I checked my everyday current account - the money had already been transferred!
