From unmanagabel debt to a working debt management plan

I found myself in pretty severe financial difficulties about six months after the Pandemic Lockdown finished with reduced work and difficulty in finding other options to replace lost income. I contacted my bank and they directed me to StepChange. It was a tentative first contact that quickly became easier as I was listened to, was given sound advice and eventually had an agreed DMP (Debt Management Plan) put into place. Ever since money management has become easier but most of all thanks to an outstanding professional sevice from StepChange, I have left behind worrying myself sick trying to cope with everything financial on my own i am now able to function.
