Review of the Snoop, Personal finance app:

Good replacement app since Yolt closed down

I came across Snoop whilst looking for an alternative when Yolt was sadly closing down. I’m pleased with the app and I like that it shows tips to manage my finances, it compares my spending from previous weeks/months at shops, it shows energy switching deals, etc. I found these features to be better than on Yolt. Also, I like that it shows my monthly and annual bills. I think there needs to be more timely update on the app in terms of showing real time transactions because I have found even after refreshing a few times in the day, sometimes it was not updated in the app after I did transactions. Also, there needs to be an option to create more than 3 categories (a feature I know is in the pipelines) as this is really important for accurate analysis of spending. I also think there needs to be a way of setting a budget in the app and a way of warning customers (daily or weekly) when they are near the limit or when they exceed the limit.
