Why on earth did I put up with my old bank?

HSBC, took 4 months to set up new bank account. After being with them less than a year, they wanted to investigate me for money laundering, which I had no problem with because I have nothing to hide but without their telephone banking set up, I can't answer their questions. To set up banking I spent more than 4.5 hours on hold, in the end i left them & came to TIDE. One day to set up, instant help if you need it. Great app. Easy to get into the web version. Everything seems easy - which begs the question, why was I so loyal to HSBC & why are they so rubbish? Reviewed on: 29th January 2022
