Review of the Post Office, Personal Loan:

Terrible, Avoid, Unprofessional

Applied for a personal loan, was told I'd had been successful and the underwriters were to release the funds. They were then cancelled at the last minute. Was given no explanation,but was urged to appeal against the Iast minute cancellation. I suspect that because on the exact same day the Bank of England raised interest rates they pulled the plug on the loan and were urging me to appeal so that they could charge me a higher rate of interest. I used Halifax in the end. Reviewed on: 6th February 2022
