Best Bank Ever

When my husband and I were told Tesco Bank was closing, we panicked. First we tried changing his First Direct account from a single to a joint and were told no which we suspect was down to finally clearing his overdraft with two salaries going into one account so they would have lost out. Then we applied online for Nat West which said it was a 3 day wait. Nope. Two weeks later and no reply and no one could even find our application and then a friend said try Starling. If only everything in life was this simple. Within minutes we had individual bank accounts and a couple of days later we had a joint account set up. The kids bank accounts were just as easy and when my daughter lost her card, I think it took less than a minute to get through to a English Call Centre with a lovely young man (sorry can't remember his name) who was so helpful. Two minutes later she had a new card in the post on the way to her. Transfers are easy, adding new people for payments are easy, it's just such a pleasure. We love the notifications. We love the breakdown of our spends. What can we say. Keep up the fab work. We will keep recommending you. Reviewed on: 12th February 2022
