Saving the world while saving for the future

I just want to say, opening the ethical cash ISA with Triodos has been brilliant for me. I save a small regular amount each month, knowing that my savings will not be used for unethical investments which would go against everything I believe in. I know the monies will be used to help companies and communities that will make a positive difference going forward, as Triodos has been doing from the beginning. I feel confident they are leading the way to a more ethical future, which makes it a better world for all of us. They are also completely transparent, so you can see exactly what they are investing in. On top of this, they are conscious of the carbon footprint, which is something I very much care about. And as an investor in the cash ISA, you can see how much difference you are making on this front, how much you are reducing your carbon footprint by. It matters. I am so happy that I made the move to Triodos. The customer service are always really helpful. Whenever I've had a question to ask, it is answered within the day. Answers are always really on-point and contain good guidance. Triodos should win on the above things, but mostly because they have given an alternative to those people who are despondent with their money being invested in all the things that they disagree with or oppose their beliefs. Choosing People and Planet

I can't say enough, the expression 'follow the money' is more relevant today than it has ever been. In our everyday life, we make choices based on our wants, needs and ethics, but then use financial institutions and products which contribute towards the destruction of those very same ethics. I chose to move to Triodos, because they invest in people, small businesses and planet and don't invest in things that are destructive to the things that not only do we care about, but that are essential for the future of everyone on this planet. How could I not move to a bank with ethics?! I have found their customer services very helpful and friendly and would recommend the bank to anybody and everybody! Reviewed on: 22nd February 2022
