I can’t stop raving about Monzo

I can’t stop raving about Monzo I went full Monzo in 2018/19 and am not looking back. I recommend it to friends and I advise people how to get the best out of it. Always use salary sorter and pay bills from my pots. I can budget and save easier and keep track of spend in easy and simple ways - the left to spend on my bills pot and looking at my scheduled payments for example. I always have a round up pot as well and am currently doing the reverse 1 p challenge adding to a pot for my car insurance to pay it all in one go. I have a pot for my Amazon prime payment and for car repairs and make sure to save my salary sort info so when I get paid (early as well!) I always move money everywhere it belongs - should I go into overdraft it’s 1p a day! Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

Great control and great savings

I was on Monzo as pre-pay and have been ‘full Monzo’ for two years. The reporting and categories makes tracking and controlling money so easy! The salary sorter and bills pot function is incredible so all bills come from one place and I sort a percentage of my salary into that. Roundups and the IFTTT challenges help me save as well. Great to keep track of your money in a flexible way, see spending and adjust monthly and budget. Reviewed on: 23rd February 2022
