Frustrating and exhausting!

Frustrating and exhausting! The handling of my mortgage case involved significant delays, 14 months and still no outcome. A surveyor and a solicitor conveyed their own choice, and the valuation delivered an incorrect outcome, timing causing my financial losses, poor communication, and a lack of clarity at key stages. This created avoidable stress and made an already important process far harder than it needed to be. I expected much better transparency, urgency, and customer care. Reviewed on: 11th June 2026

12 Years with HSBC 4-5 with HSBC Premier

This product from HSBC was one of my fav choices of savings account ON BNS SAVER, it was definitely my go-to for an online savings account. From the higher interest rate 4% STILL as this review come out when every other banks has already lowered their interest rate for saving accounts products. Although I believe they've already announced the date when the interest on savings will go down sometimes next year. I've max as much, use it while its there. Reviewed on: 16th December 2024

My Top 10 Ranked Clueless Online Banking Platforms

In my experience with this company, I can't remember anything positive. Customer support mishandled consumer issues, and there were constant reports of incorrect balances sent to credit reporting agencies, which can severely affect your credit score, particularly during a mortgage application. Moreover, getting anything resolved was nearly impossible, regardless of how many times I reached out to them. Ultimately, nothing was accomplished despite their promises. Big dissapoinment. My Top 3 Financial Investment & Pension Platform

I've been using Nutmeg for over three years, and I've been genuinely impressed. The platform makes it easy for beginners like me to track and manage my investments. Customising my portfolio to match my needs and the risk levels is simple; it depends on how much of a risk taker you are to expect a higher return. The fee structure provides transparency and peace of mind, and its responsive customer support enhances the overall experience. The engaging video content is also an excellent resource for learning about investing. A minor drawback is that in the pension "pay in" section, I can only add funds from the direct debit set-up on the original account unless I set up a new one, which can take time to proceed.
