Realistic Cover

I recently moved from another insurance company because I found specified in the small print that if the caravan was hitched to the car that it was only covered when parked if both the hitch lock and wheel lock were applied, including a through the frame wheel lock. How a single tourer is supposed to manoeuvre a car to get the Alco frame wheel lock lined up millimetre perfect is beyond me - a simple get out clause that I would say nobody would be able to do. Needless to say the Caravan & Motorhome club’s insurance understands the reality of Caravanning & does not include the frame wheel lock when the caravan is being towed.
