Best Rates for New Customers!!

Their Customer Service Centre is based in the U.K. with friendly, welcoming, courteous and knowledgeable staff who invariably answer calls very promptly. Moreover, Charter Savings Bank's website is clear and easy to navigate. Their rates of interest are VERY competitive - however, the Instant Access Account is constantly being relaunched, thus offering higher rates to new customers. To stay ahead here, one has to keep watch for new issues upon their website, open new accounts as and when and close down the old ones. This is fiddly and shouldn't be necessary. Not only is this time-consuming but also complicates filing a Tax Return. Reviewed on: 9th April 2026

Very User-Friendly Bank

The staff at Customer Services (based in the U.K.) invariably answer calls very promptly and are friendly, welcoming, respectful and genuinely knowledgeable. R.C.I. Bank's website is clear and easy to navigate. Existing customers enjoy the same rates as new ones - no need to constantly switch accounts in order to obtain higher rates. However, R.C..I.'s interest rates are generally very slightly uncompetitive with reasonable comparisons. Reviewed on: 9th April 2026

U.K. Call Centre & Everyone Receives the Same Rates.

Upon the rare occasions that I have had to phone Customer Services, my call has been answered very promptly and by someone knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I also like the fact that existing customers are given the same rates of interest as new customers - no need to keep opening new accounts under new issue numbers! Reviewed on: 13th March 2026

U.K. Call Centre/Quick Clearances/Great Rates.

I manage my account online, but, upon the rare occasions that I have phoned the call centre, I have had my call answered very promptly and by a courteous, friendly and knowledgeable member of staff. Moreover, money transfers both in and out clear very quickly and the interest rates are very competitive. Reviewed on: 29th January 2026

Clear, Easy-to-Navigate Website/Friendly Call Center Staff

R.C.I. always offers very competitive interest rates - even in today's difficult financial environment. Notwithstanding this, the website is very clear and easily navigated and upon the rare occasions that I have had to telephone I have found the call center staff to be friendly and welcoming.
