First direct are clearly ahead of other banks

Good customer service, good overdraft facility as standard, good rates for linked savings accounts. Don't seem to send as many annoying emails as other banks. Always helpful if you need anything from them. Used to be a pain having no branches, but neither does anyone else these days. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Excellent customer service

Always friendly staff, helpful and not continually trying to flog you something. When they do recommend a product it's because they genuinely believe that it would benefit you. Reviewed on: 8th November 2018
