Triodos is the only truly ethical bank in the UK

Triodos is the only truly ethical bank in the UK and nothing compares to it in terms of its social/ethical commitments. Its customer service is very good and the online banking easy to use. Everybody should switch at least one account to Triodos, it's a powerful way to make a difference in the world. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Ethical, friendly bank

I love Triodos. I have two bank accounts and I've been banking with them for about 6 years. They have been unfailingly great. They answer their phones quickly, their staff are friendly, the online banking is super easy and secure, and I feel glad that I am not with a bank who funds arms deals, but instead with a bank who funds communities, small ethical businesses and innovation.
