Starling is Sterling

I am an Indian citizen who came to work in London with a job offer from NHS last year. With all relevant documents and proofs and with atleast 2 letters of recommendation from one of the largest NHS hospital trusts, I was rejected an account at HSBC and Barclays. Even after contacting them multiple times - no help..i couldn't even get in touch with HSBC. So i was working on no salary for 2months. . I never had an experience with a completely online bank.. but still I thought will take my chance and applied for starling account and believe it or not , 5th day I had an account started. No other questions asked. Got my card 3 days later. And rest is history. The app is really intuitive and useful and staright forward unlike other banks. From my advice , Starling is the way forward. And I definitely recommend it to all new arrivals in UK. Which i have already done. Am sure Starling is going to bag the best bank this year as well and many more years to come.
