Worst bank for business needs

We've been with Santander for years and have had no end of issues from terrible customer service, constant blocks on cards for genuine transactions and no blocks for suspicious payments. Their banking dashboard and mobile app suck - you can't see pending transactions, which are commonplace even for the most basic banking services these days. On top of this you can't ask anything through their "secure messaging service" and they always request that you call them due to security reasons. The banking links into Quickbooks are also unreliable and always need updating. At the time of writing I've been sat on their auto-attendant phone line for >20mins after they couldn't even verify my customer ID to ask the simplest question. All in all We're completely fed up with Santander and would advise anyone looking to set up a business account to avoid them. Literally go anywhere else! Reviewed on: 30th March 2022
