Not communicating with customers is very efficient for a Bank.

Unfortunately Lloyds Bank do not prioritise customer telephone enquiries or seemingly even telephone enquiries from their remaining branches. This is all the more concerning as they advance with their 'branch closing strategy'. Obviously holding funds and not communicating with customers is very efficient for a Bank.
