Ridiculous

I have an excellent credit rating and when i was applying for the load it said i could a low APR rate, however they put the money in my account and then I received a letter back saying my APR was 7.9%. Needless to say I called them to return the money straight away as that was daylight robbery. I now have got the loan from another organisation for same amount and term at an APR of 2.9%.
