Review of the PayPlan, Debt solutions:

Wish I had rang them earlier

My Bank thankfully first made me aware of PayPlan, when I eventually and reluctantly rang them for help and advice, due to my circumstances drastically changing and taking a downward spiral, due to developments in my life because of the Pandemic. My mum had died from Covid, so I was going through one of the worse times in my life and grieving for my lovely mum too. I hadn’t even fully opened up to my close family or friends, fearing they would judge me and also, they too were grieving. Feeling devastated, embarrassed, ashamed and exhausted from lack of sleep, caused by all the stress, I was unsuccessfully trying to muddle through sorting things and cope with it all on my own. Not! I rang their number as advised by my Bank and felt so relieved, once I knew how understanding and helpful PayPlan are. I only wish I’d heard of them sooner and a lot of my stress would have been avoided. They are professional but approachable and every person I spoke and listened to, from the word go and have corresponded with since, have been a reassuring, calming and gave trusted guidance. They initially got me through and are still helping me with one of the worst and most distressing times of my life. They set up a plan for me and explained every step and development in a calm, knowledgeable and reassuring manner. Every single member of staff that I’ve dealt with since, are exemplary. They are so understanding, patient and efficient and are also prompt in sending information to me, if needed and in replying to any correspondence I send to them. All in all, they took a massive weight off my shoulders and I know I can 100% trust their guidance. So pleasant to deal with too. I’m a changed person because my stress levels are now more controlled and I know I can fully rely on them if I have any queries or worries. The first step to asking for help, when you feel in such isolation and despair, is the hardest. They reassured me I wasn’t being weak in asking for guidance and help, it showed strength and courage. I believe that now. Their words and encouragement in a very dark stage of my life, lifted me out of that darkness and I am so glad my pride lessened (desperation!) and I made that first phone call to them. I am so grateful for their guidance, expertise, knowledge and help. I prayed so much for help and that calm, reassuring help arrived, in the form of PayPlan. I hope they realise what a massive difference for good, they have made to the quality of my life now. I have told them and thanked them; so I hope they do.
