Life savers

My wife and I had a debt of about 62k. All credit cards. We just couldn't ever get on top of it so we got more cards to survive but it got to a point that every payday we paid the minimum on our cards but had to then use them every time. We were just not able to pay it off and it got to a point where we couldn't afford it anymore. Our mental and physical health was being affected by the stress and worry. I heard of payplan and thought I would get some help. My wife was very unsure of this. She thought we would lose our house. Payplan spoke to her and reassured her that the house would not be affected unless we did an IVA. So we did a joint debt management plan that was recommended by payplan. it was all set up and we started to make affordable payments every month. We were able to live without stress or worry about how we would survive every month. It was going really well and it was nice seeing the actual debt to start to reduce. My wife lost her job because of the covid pandemic. We spoke to payplan and we were able to hold payments for a month and then reduce our payments for a while. My wife was very lucky to get a job quote quickly but we lost £1000 a month in income. When we spoke.to payplan again to sort out our monthly payments they worked really well with us and our creditors and our payments became £600 a month. There customer service is outstanding. Any worries or concerns I had, I was able to call or email and they were always very nice and reassuring. Always there to help me. I would highly recommend payplan to anyone who is suffering with debt repayment issues to contact them and get the best help like I did. Thank you payplan Reviewed on: 8th June 2022
