I shopped around for cycle insurance for my e-bike

I shopped around for cycle insurance for my e-bike and found that Cycleplan was the most specialised. Many other insurers were providing bike insurance but often as an add-on to car or home insurance. I feel that Cycleplan is a little more money but provided by bike specialists. I looked around many different insurance companies for specific bike insurance and only Cycleplan seemed to have any understanding of what a cyclist needs, how to properly protect your bike, and how to support cyclists in the event of a claim. I feel that this makes them outstanding in a field that seems to treat bicycles as an afterthought. Reviewed on: 13th October 2023

Understand cyclist needs

I shopped around for cycle insurance and the company that stood out was Cycleplan. They had a clear understanding of cyclist needs and their price was the most competitive. Most cycle insurance feels like a tack on to other services, whereas CyclePlan feels bespoke and with a thorough understanding of what a cyclist needs. Highly recommended.
