Review of the PayPlan, Debt solutions:

Nice people who understand what a debt burden is.

I've used PayPlan since I suffered a catastrophic (for me) financial collapse, as did most of the western world, after the 2008/9 financial meltdown. I did all of the usual things, moving money (debt) between companies to keep the appearance of having some financial fluidity. I was able to keep this going till around 2010 when the interest rates on my various card doubled or trebled overnight. That's when I had to admit defeat and get help. I found PayPlan from recommendations online, called them and they walked me through the process of producing a income and outgoings sheet, once the figures were there PayPlan did all of the heavy lifting. The relief, especially from pushy collection agents, was palpable - I could just refer all contact to PayPlan and that was it (it took a little while for one agent to accept the situation but, after about the third phone call, third failure at getting me to clear the debt, at the expense of my other creditors, I assume that he gave up - I'm pretty sure that he never contacted PayPlan as they would have mentioned it). PayPlan lifted what seemed to be the weight of the world from my shoulders and for the first time in 3 years or so I could relax when the phone rang or a letter came. It's still depressing to think that I'm paying these now ancient debts and will be until I reach the age of 130 something totally ridiculous but, as an OAP now, I feel that I can go to PayPlan if I have any financial problems at all, knowing that they will do their best to negotiate on my behalf and come back with a solution. As for recommending their services to friends or family, I already have done so, for a friend, who is equally impressed and happy at the result. I cannot stress how valuable services such as PayPlan offer are, talking to people who understand the situation and try their absolute best to take a financial mountain and reduce it, metaphorically, back to a molehill is invaluable. It's peace of mind, it's not constantly running through periods of near debilitating despair, it's a friendly and helpful voice that says, "We can probably do something to help with that" and then they do.
