Friendly, professional and excellent

I needed to check something on our insurance prior to renewing and as always, the phone was answered quickly and professionally. Every time I've spoken to a Caravan Guard operative, they are always friendly and helpful, taking time to make you aware of the implications of any change and providing, quickly, alternative prices if you want to compare the cost of the alternative change. The fact you can contact Caravan Guard after normal working hours and speak to an actual person quickly puts them heads above many other companies. Reviewed on: 20th July 2025

Customer Service is excellent

Caravan Guard phone you when it is getting near the time for renewal - and they leave a message to say they have called, explaining that your renewal information will be with you shortly etc. A lot of companies never leave a message meaning you have no idea who called and end up blocking the number as a nuisance call. You can speak to customer service at times which suit ie, out of office hours for myself. This year, they took the time to explain the different premiums which was very informative, considering the change in the price of caravans in the current year and the type of cover we had for a 2 year old caravan. They don't pressurise you to making a decision there and then, being happy to arrange a call back the following day at a convenient time, to allow us time to discuss what best suited us, You can of course do everything online, but sometimes speaking to someone gives you a clearer understanding of the terminology used. All round excellent customer service! Might not be the cheapest insurance, but you feel sure you have got the most appropriate cover for your caravan should you ever require to claim.
