First car was a total loss and Cat S, now it's repairable

Avoid these clowns at all costs. They contacted me when one of their customers hit my parked car, claiming it would be easier for them as the third party to handle the claim. After a very large quote to repair the damage, they instructed an independent engineer to assess the car. Their report stated the car was a total loss and a Cat S. Tesco called me to arrange a settlement figure but they changed their mind when the realised my car had PCP finance on it despite the report that they had stating the car was on PCP. I was promised the car was not going to assigned a Cat S by a manager but it initially was. All of a sudden, the total loss and Cat S was being ignored and the car repaired. Tesco's broker have stated that this should still be a Cat S and not simply ignored. I have also not been told why the car was classed as a Cat S, despite me asking numerous times.
