I love that Starling bank doesn't charge fees for having a current account with them. I love the feature of Spaces in the app so it's easy to set money aside for something in particular. The only criticism I have is that they used to pay monthly interest on the money you keep in the account but that has stopped. That was one reason why I opened an account with Starling in the first place. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026
