Disgusting treatment from Barclays

I've banked with Barclays for nearly sixty years. In spite of significant funds on deposit, a mortgage-free house, and no debts they've decided to withdraw my overdraft facility. The reason? I might buy a house with the funds on deposit. I am utterly disgusted. Needless to say the funds I had with Barclays are now elsewhere and the process of switching my current account has begun.
