Honestly, this makes car insurance so much better!

With the global pandemic, and the fact that more people work from home, ByMiles has come in as a massive time and money saver. I worked from home before the world came to a standstill, and I found that paying thousands over the years in car insurance which I barely used was a waste of money (and IMO illegal). Why should we pay for a car when it's sat on the driveway? And the logistics otherwise is just a nightmare. So either pay hundreds, if not thousands, or go through the stress of hiring a car/sorting out insurance/public transport. ByMiles did me a huge favour, and I've been able to drastically reduce how much I pay in insurance. All the "big" and "well known" companies only ever put up the premiums, even when I was the perfect driver. They took any excuse to take my money. With ByMiles, it was quick and painless, and all I needed to do was install a small device to record the number of miles I drive, and nothing else. I paid £200 up-front to have the car "road legal" essentially, and then I just pay whenever I drive the car. The only downsides are the lack of adding a learner driver to the policy, and the lack of being able to drive other cars third-party (so not quite fully comp.) I only wish I found ByMiles sooner!
