Cancelled festival - full refund

We had taken out PLI with Event insurance for our folk festival. Unfortunately, one dat prior to the festival we had to cancel the event owing to the sad death of the Queen. I called Event insurance to ask if any sort of refund was possible and to my astonishment they refunded the full amount we had paid. It is so unusual to deal with a company, especially in insurance who are so ethical and understanding. I would thoroughly recommend Event Insurance to anyone thinking of taking out this sort of insurance. Reviewed on: 12th September 2022
