A Ghost Mortgage !!

Over the last 5 months FBS have me listed as not having paid a mortgage on a property I don't own and have never lived in.. You can imagine how that appears to the various credit reference agencies. My rating having tumbled from 999 (Yes, us mortals can achieve such a score) to around the 600 mark and getting lower every month. I write to Experian and to Clear Score etc. and I also write to FBS and I receive apologies and they confirm it is their error but nothing happens. The next month it still appears on my record and my financial reputation suffers even more. So, throuhgh no fault of my own, FBS, who overall seem like a very nice company are ruining me through their incompetance. I genuinley would love to say I'm happy and I would recommend them because my experience with the mortgage I do have with them has been nothing but exemplary. But who needs the shadow of a ghost mortgage following them around. Please FBS - Do something about it. Don't just apologise. Reviewed on: 15th September 2022
