did a hard search on credit file

I took car insurance with policy expert on monthly direct debit, they have a 3rd party finance company who did a hard search on my credit file and approved (which i was not aware until I saw on my credit file, usually or mostly the car insurance companies does a soft search not hard search which wont impact the credit file ) Reviewed on: 16th September 2022
