Always hated how impersonal and unavailable big banks were. Even tried a couple of the start ups before settling on Starling. Very responsive IM, email and phone calls plus great service. Go out of their way to help. Encourage saving with "Spaces" feature - something I struggled with - by allowing you to set specific goals for specific reasons. Prefer UX to Monzo and don't have to have a "Hot Coral" card the same as everyone else in East London Reviewed on: 6th November 2018
