The New Day credit card is not up to the standard of the Partnership card. Customer service is absent. The telephone system for customer service is irritating and designed to put you off seeking help I will be using my Amex card for future payments I listened to Dame Sharon White on Womans Hour - she seems to think customer service is still a focus at John Lewis - i am not sure that she is aware what is actually going on. As a long standing and loyal customer of over 40 years i am very sad to see the demise of the partnership. Reviewed on: 10th November 2022

Card holder for 42 years - but no longer

I have had a John Lewis card since 1981. I have been a loyal customer recommeding the store for quality and customer service The new card falls far short of the Partnership Card - and the Customer card before that. The website has been down - my details have not been recognised - i had to re set a passcode 3 times and each time i was locked Such a shame that a company like John Lewis can let is reputation for quality and customer service fall Has the new CEO not realised the store is successful becuase of customer loyalty ? Short term cost cutting measures will destroy the reputation built up over decades- Sadly the store may follow the route of Army and Navy and the banks ....
