Review of the Vanquis, Credit card:

Would not help someone is crisis

My circumstances have changed in the next few years due to disability, anxiety and partner left me etc, and especially the cost of living crisis has not helped. I called vanquis to ask for help, said that I could pay them £50 a month rather than the minimum payment which seems to have increased exponentially compared to my other credit cards. I have never missed a payment in the 8 years I have had a credit card with them. They said they would, but then didn't, instead passed me to a company called Payplan who wants me to relinquish all credit I may have available to me. I would have thought vanquis would rather have something rather than nothing from me. But obviously I am now going to have to have my credit rating affected because of their idiocy.
