Hidden charges

Be aware, if you take out a learner policy and pass your test you will be charged at least £35 by this company.. I had paid for a 12 month policy up front and son passed with about 4 months left.. they do not refund the unused months and when I rang to get a quote for him as a qualified driver they told me I was cancelling the policy and need to pay the charge.. I argued that I wasn’t cancelling and they’d already had all the premium but they just refer you to their t&c’s.. however, it is not clear in those that a learner driver passing their test whilst insured on a learners cover invokes an extra charge… rip off and underhand business practice.. I would never recommend this company and would never use them again Reviewed on: 30th November 2022
