Absolutely rubbish

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely useless. My 85 yr old mother has the gold home emergency cover. Boiler broke 14 days ago 15 th Dec, 5 days later an engineer turned up, needs parts. 3 days later the parts haven’t arrived. Then next day parts haven’t arrived and it’s 2 days before xmas. 13 days after first phone call, 3 days after Xmas another engineer turns up with some parts but not all and thinks he’s repairing just a leaking boiler. The boiler was leaking but also didn’t work. It worked for 1 hour after he left. Got up today. Not working. A vulnerable 85 year old disabled lady left without hot water and heating over Xmas and now it looks like new year as well. All I get when I phone is , sorry for the inconvenience but there’s nothing we can do, we’ll send an engineer out. Swinton blames the contractors, contractors blame Swinton. My mum has had this insurance for 12 years and used it once. Absolutely disgraceful Reviewed on: 29th December 2022
