Avoid at every single cost

Endless fraudulent attacks on my account since opening. The last one the cashier said they couldn’t complete payment over the counter as the money hadn’t been moved from my savings. We were taking money out and had in fact transferred this. She again claimed it wasn’t. Checked my account and the money I had asked for had come up as withdrawn on my online banking. I went straight back to the bank this member of staff was on her break?? Almost two hours of waiting on the bank manager to get to the bottom of what went on and apparently the lady behind the counter had gone ahead with my request removing the money from My debit account by accident? But hadn’t given me the money. So imagine if I wasn’t on the ball or a vulnerable person and this money would have disappeared. Absolutely disgusting service. I’ve had over 6 fraudulent attacks on my account in only a year, within an hour of opening this so called safer account I had 10,000 pounds taken and sent to Dubai. Apparently and the excuse this time was the advisor left my details on screen and made the wrong transaction on the next call. What planet do these people think we are on to believe such blatant lies. Now today in trying to make a payment to my solicitor for a property, over two hours on the phone with calls cutting out from their end then to be told their voice recognition didn’t pick up my voice so they can’t make the payment. This voice system is completely floored it never picks up my voice but yet in the past they just ask additional security questions but refused today. When I first opened this account they were so far up my backside it was embarrassing, but now I’ve purchased 3 houses they seem less interested. They need to remember when I decide to sell these properties I need a bank I can trust and let me tell you now this bank is far from it. I now have to go into the branch tomorrow and take time away from what I should be doing to get this payment sent. Do yourselves a huge favour and avoid this bank and go somewhere else I will be closing my account down they’ve had far too many chances. Reviewed on: 12th January 2023
