Quote was twice the price of my last insurance even with 25% discount

I was looking to renew my building and contents insurance and obtained a quote from Nationwide as offering 25% reduction for member. I nearly fell off my seat when the quote popped up. It was twice the cost of my previous policy with like for like cover so certainly will not use Nationwide for my home insurance cover Reviewed on: 14th January 2023
