Fixed-rate mortgage with Nationwide

I have a fixed-rate mortgage with Nationwide and am very happy with it so far: the interest rate was competitive, the app works well, customer service has been great (in branch) when I needed it, and not least it’s a bank with some ethical values. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Ethical cash ISA

I have had an online cash ISA with Triodos for over 13 years, and I have been very happy with it. Other banks may give you slightly higher interest rates, but at the cost of driving and supporting destructive and unjust practices. It's good to know that with Triodos, you're investing your money into positive change. I like the ease of managing my account online and seeing all transactions in one place.
