Cheques are dead, cash is dead, digital is king.

Modern banking for the modern age. Yes, you can still pay in cash via the post office and scan cheques via the app (are you listening, Monzo?), but digital is the way to go. I don't need an old-fashioned bricks-and-mortar bank with it's clunky online offering. Everything I do, I can do via the app, and it... just works. The new virtual cards (which are free to set up) help me segregate my spending, and the breakdown of spending by category and merchant helps me see where I'm (over?)spending. Support via the app has always been quick and efficient on the very rare times I've had to use it. Reviewed on: 24th January 2023
