Difficulty in getting a response let alone action

I had a no fault accident on 28th November and reported the incident to Admiral within 24 hours. Since then I have spent literally hours and hours trying to speak on the phone. I finally established that they were unable to find a garage free to take my car and asked me to find one local to me. This involved more time on the phone but I found one that Admiral approved of. To day, 27 th January, the garage rang to say that they are still waiting for written authorisation.I have now been without my car for two months and have spent countless hours on the phone which is time I cannot afford since I am in my eighties and looking after my Ill husband.
