What a rip off

I rang to change my vehicle on my policy, the monthly payment not even for 12 months doubled. When I asked about cancelling the policy I was told that this would cost me £95. A new policy would cost me £200 more than a quote I had had. When I said I might as well run the policy and pay it, I was told well your 9 years no claim wont be able to be transferred, I don't care, I am not paying your rip off prices!
