Opening a new account with Nat West.

Tried to open an account with Nat West. Uplifted all the required documents. Was issued an account number etc. Then subsequently advised not able to offer me an account. No explanation or opportunity to discover the reason for being declined. Very unsatisfactory outcome. Reviewed on: 17th April 2026

Local, friendly good savings rates

In the many years of trading with Newbury Building Society I have always been comforted with them being on my doorstep. The staff are easy to approach and very respectful. To cap it all are the excellent savings rates. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023
