Disreputable, be very careful!

I took out Home Insurance specifically for an unoccupied property. The policy clearly states the property is unoccupied but when I needed to claim, the insurance company said they didn't insure unoccupied properties despite stating I had avised them of this on the policy! I can't believe they can get away with misselling like this. Also, make sure you read S004 - restricted Perils on the last page as it is likely this nulifies anything already stated in the policy.
