Review of the Halifax, Fixed Rate Mortgage:

Good bank with good rates

We managed to get a good mortgage deal through Halifax, even though the interest rates at the moment are absolutely terrible. However, we had to get it through a mortgage broker. The mortgage advisor from the bank would offer us 6.79% fixed rate for 2 years, while through our mortgage broker we got the same product for 4.81%. Same product, same bank, but we had to pay £600 fees to our mortgage broker to get the deal. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Great Loan Provider

I have been using Ratesetter as a loan provider for about 5-6 year now. Everything works extremely well online, the loan application form, the early repayments or extra borrowing, I have changed my DD date a couple of times and I have never had any issues!
