Metro Bank Business Banking - terrible

Very slow account opening process. Long waiting times each time I visit a branch to speak to someone. Numerous issues just trying to get access to the bank account. Subsequent issues with their website and overseas payments (eventually finding out using Microsoft Edge apparently stops this from working). Then told my company was too big for their Business Banking product and it would be moved to Commercial Banking - but that their onboarding process had raised red flags and could take the account on (but also unable to stay on the existing product and so the account was going to be closed....). I could add lots more but feel that should give everyone the picture - avoid. It's not worth the stress. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
