The best bank for European expats

Metro Bank was the only bank that made it possible for me to open an account when I first moved to the UK. They took the time to understand that I was not able to provide utility bills as proof of residence in my first month of residence and allowed me to provide alternative documents. They were the only bank with this level of flexibility. Additionally, it is great that there is no fees for card purchases in Europe a I frequently travel. Staff is always very professional and friendly both over he phone and in person. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
