10/10 Excellect all round.

Excellect all round. Best bank I have ever had in over 50 years. Rewards customers more for their business than any others with excellect helpful obliging call centre staff. They really go the extra mile unlike other distaster banks. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024

very poor customer service

Someone wrongfully charged my account and I went overdrawn. The money was credited back a couple of days later. I had to pay bank penalty charges yhe custer helpline were atrocious. Only make as much for the bank. Closed account as a result. These claim to be a caring bank. Just got told to charge gge money back from the company making the mistake. Needless to say they refused to provide documentary evidence. I would not ever go near these bunch of charltans ever again. Even if they offered me £5000 to switch. The reason I am so frustrated was the way the helpline told me basically tuff luck it is your problem not ours.... Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

bank does not offer loans always 3rd party

Bank does not seem to offer direct loans. All through third parties. Presumably the bank gets commission. Interest rates more like credit companies than your bank. Seem only interested in profit these days. Help line hours cut, branches cut, all round services and rewards cut. Back to being a piggy bank. How sad. They were an excellent bank once. move any savings you can get a lot better return elsewhere.

Interest rates are diabolical compared to competition. Customer Service is good if you have the time to wait to get through. Gone have 24/7 helpline now just over office hours. Local banks gone. Local bank left in difficult place to access/park. Not tge bank it was since being partially privatised. Now need to pay shareholders not a Cooperative society organisation anymore. Benefits perks are deplorable compared to previous and the competition sadly. This bank is now back to the days of being a piggy bank. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
