apart from one issue when a £30 payment to my sister...

apart from one issue when a £30 payment to my sister for her birthday was stopped and I was asked to provide a copy of her passport!!!! all good. and luckily my sister did get her birthday money without a hitch this year :) The app is really easy to use, I can track my spending very easily, I can also see what's due to leave the account in advance so I can make sure I have enough funds to cover it and the savings product is competitive (but always happy for the rates to be nudged up a tad). I don't engage with customer services unless absolutely needed, so can't comment on my experiences, but as I say apart from the ridiculous issue with birthday money, I suspect it's all good. also, massively impressed today with a warning saying we're aware of issues with other banks and there's no need to make the payment again and instead check their websites for updates which I thought was pretty good Reviewed on: 28th February 2025

I can't send money to my sister to her birthday

the bank initially refused to allow me to send £30 of my money to my sister for her birthday this year from my chase account, despite me doing this without issue last year. also, they wanted me to tell them her date of birth, full name and address despite the fact that she doesn't bank with them and they don't have her authority for me to disclose her personal data to them. they don't think this is an issue, but clearly it's wrong Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
