We set up chase accounts about 1 year ago in 2022. We were looking at the increasing COMMERCIAL rates on offer TO banks and noticed that all the OLD GUARD in RETAIL banking were continuing to offer derisory (0.01%) rates to (in our case long standing, loyal) customers. The "loyalty penalty" reared it head again and we opened accounts. We were expecting "standard" APP based banking but got a lot more. In addition to a respectable interest rate (which has been increased in line with Central Bank increases) we found a bank that offered instant movement of cash between saving and retail, cash back, top-up, and more, with an intuitive and responsive app. And on the rare occasion we have had to seem (app based only) help that was also swift to be answered, and polite and informative as well. A great choice for us, and as long as they maintain competitiveness (not necessarily the BEST rates) then they'll have us as customers Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
