Disappointed cash back has become conditional

I like the app. I liked the 1% cash back. The numberless debit card is genius. Why aren’t all bank cards like this! Glad you passed interest rate increase quicker last time. Initial delayed increase really knocked my positive impression of you, but well done for dealing with it rapidly on next rate increase. Good recovery. What I am disappointed with is that the 1% cash back has been made conditional on depositing a fixed monthly amount. Of course I will do this, but it just gives a bad taste of Chase trying to trip me up if I forget or the road humps life sometimes throws at you make it not possible. Suggestions for improvement would be to offer joint accounts. Bonus points available for increasing savings rate further. Rounding up change rate of 5% is gimmicky and just marketing sugar coating.
