Review of the Barclays, Travel Insurance:

I like them as a bank - But don't expect any help from their travel insurance.

I only tried to use this service once, when we were given incorrect ferry times by SailRail from Dublin to Holyhead - So had to stay overnight in Dublin. Barclays travel insurance simply threw their example wording at me, and essentially said "go away". I've used various travel insurance companies before and never had an issue in the rare moment of a claim.
